Vice President JD Vance and Second Lady Usha Vance have welcomed their fourth child, a baby boy named Alec Neel Vance.
The couple announced that Alec was born on Sunday, July 19th, and shared that both mother and baby are healthy and doing well. They have three other children: Ewan, 9, Vivek, 6, and Mirabel, 4.
In a statement shared on social media, the Vances said, “We are excited to announce that our baby boy, Alec Neel Vance, was born this morning. Usha and the baby are happy and healthy, and our kids are overjoyed to meet their little brother.”
Alec is the first child born to a sitting U.S. vice president in more than 150 years.
