David Mayfield, member of the prophetic country/ bluegrass band Cadillac Sky and Avett Brothers contributor, released his most recent solo project under The David Mayfield Parade moniker last year. “I Just Might Pray” off of said album provides a commanding bass, jubilant hand clapping, lyrics about the importance and sometimes illusive subject of love, and Mayfield’s sincere and homely southern voice.
