Lewis and Clark Secures Thrilling Last-Minute Win Against Jefferson College

The Lewis and Clark Community College men’s soccer team earned a memorable 2–1 road victory over Jefferson College in a match filled with intensity, physical play, and dramatic moments. 

From the opening whistle, the Trailblazers showed their determination. In the first half, Abudi Ibrahim struck first, giving Lewis and Clark a 1–0 lead and setting the tone for the match. 

Jefferson College responded in the second half, finding the equalizer and turning the game into a fierce, physical battle. Despite the pressure, Lewis and Clark continued to push forward in search of the win. 

Just when it seemed the match would end in a draw, Abudi Ibrahim stepped up once again, scoring the game-winning goal in the final moments. His outstanding performance not only secured the victory but also earned him recognition as the NJCAA Player of the Week. 

In the dying seconds of the match, goalkeeper Vitor Henning delivered a crucial save to preserve the lead and seal the Trailblazers’ dramatic win. 

Looking ahead, the Trailblazers will play a friendly match on Friday, September 19, offering valuable opportunities for players who have not yet seen significant minutes to showcase their skills and gain game experience. 

With this hard-fought victory and an upcoming chance for the entire roster to shine, Lewis and Clark continues to display its fighting spirit and commitment to team growth.
