The club began through advisor Laura’s love of horror, which attracted students with similar interests and helped the group grow. The club functions like a book club but for horror movies. Twice a month, members watch a randomly selected, student-suggested movie and meet to discuss it. Currently, most of their focus is on preparing for the “Library After Dark” haunted house like event toward the end of October. The club explores many horror genres and activities. Members aren’t required to attend every meeting they can join the ones that interest them most.
