When Jim Eck’s family needed support the most, the compassion of nurses made all the difference for both his son and his father. Those experiences motivated him to develop the knowledge and skills needed to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

As he begins his nursing career, Jim hopes to continue strengthening his clinical skills while advocating for patients who are often overlooked by the healthcare system. His goal is to provide compassionate care to those who need it most and ensure no patient feels forgotten.
