Meet Jordan Walker

Jordan Walker teaches a variety of art and art history courses, including painting, figure drawing, and art history. He enjoys connecting art history with studio work to help students see what’s possible in their own art. His favorite part of teaching is watching students grow as artists and gain a deeper appreciation for the master's before them. He often reminds students that real growth happens when they’re challenged and step outside their comfort zone. Inspired by historical art, especially from the Renaissance and Baroque eras. His own oil paintings often reimagine old masterpieces and explore themes like biology and science fiction.
