“Halloween Kills” is the second installment in the Halloween trilogy that takes place 40 years after the original “Halloween” movie came out. If you want a monster movie with a massacre of killings, this movie is for you. But if you are a fan of the series or a long time “Halloween” fan, this movie was a money grabber and filler.

Returning actors are Jamie Lee Curtis as Laurie Strode, Judy Greer as Karen Nelson, Andi  Matichek as Allyson Nelson, and James Jude Courtney/Nick Castle as Michael Myers. In this film the casting was great and felt normal. The cast worked great together throughout.

The directors of the music are John Carpenter, Cody Carpenter, and Daniel Davies. This “Halloween” film has the classic John Carpenter with a little bit of a twist, which was a good change of pace. I loved the track they did, “It Needs To Die.”

The director of “Halloween Kills” is David Gordon Green. The movie was a pretty good horror murder movie. That I know of there were at least 20 kills. This movie was just to fill the gap between the 2018 film “Halloween” and the final Halloween film “Halloween Ends” in 2022.

Overall, this film brings together the old school and modern horror fans to enjoy a bloody Halloween movie for enjoyment.
