Meet the Fall 2023 Staff of The Bridge

At The Bridge Newspaper, our mission is to connect, inform, and inspire our college community. As we embark on a new semester, we’d like to introduce you to the talented individuals who work tirelessly behind the scenes to bring you the latest news, thought-provoking features, and engaging content. 

 

 

Jeannette Carrington – Editor-in-Chief, Writer, Photographer, Graphic Designerjcarrington@lc.edu 

Jeannette is pursuing a degree in Graphic Design and a certificate in Photography. After graduation, she plans to expand her photography and graphic design business. 

 

 

 

 

Isabelle Flener

Isabelle is working towards her Associate of Arts degree, with plans to graduate in the Fall of 2023. After completing her art degree, she intends to transfer to a university to pursue a degree in photojournalism. 

 

 

 

 

Mallory Clevenger

Mallory is pursuing an Associate’s in Arts degree with plans to graduate in the Winter of 2023. After graduation, Mallory intends to find a full-time job within an editing or finance career path. 

 

 

 

 

Avalon Eales

Avalon is pursuing a degree in Graphic Design and an Animation certificate. She plans to graduate in Fall 2023 and finish her education at a 4-year university.

James is pursuing a certificate in Photography and plans to graduate in the Spring of 2024. After, he plans to expand his photography business and pursue a 4-year degree.

Jamie is pursuing a degree in Graphic Design and plans to graduate in Spring 2024.

Kayla is pursuing her Associate’s Degree in Web Design and Development. She is graduating in the Fall of 2023 and plans to attend SIUE next Fall.

Bryce Wellenreiter is pursuing a degree in Web Design, he plans to graduate in Fall 2023 and then pursue a career in Web Design, 

 

 

 

 

Mary Curvey

 

 

Mary Curvey – Graphic Designer, Cartoonist –  mcurvey@lc.edu 

Mary is completing dual degrees in Graphic Design and Fine Arts. She graduated in Spring of 2023 and set off on her creative career, but returned to take another class. 

 

 

 

 

 

Keenan Mount

Keenan is a political science and philosophy student pursuing an associate of arts. He plans to graduate in 2024 and continue his education at a 4-year university.

Dylan is pursuing a degree in associates in applied science for web design and development and plans to graduate in the Fall of 2024. After graduation, they plan to be pursuing a cybersecurity degree.

Kal is pursuing a degree in Graphic Design and plans to graduate in Spring 2024. After graduation, they plan to begin their graphic design career.

Celeste is pursuing a degree in Animation and plans to graduate in Spring 2023. After graduation, she plans to then get a degree in Game Design at a 4-year university.

Katie is pursuing an Associate of Arts Degree and is planning on graduating in Spring 2025.  

 

 

 

 

 

Megan Doyle

Megan is pursuing a degree in graphic design. She plans to graduate in the Fall of 2023. After she graduates, she plans to pursue a career in graphic design as she starts her own business.

Taylor is pursuing a degree in Graphic Design. They plan to graduate in Fall 2023 and finish their education at a 4-year university.

Joshua Schumacher is pursuing a degree in Computer Networking major. He plans to graduate in the Fall of 2023 and move right into the information technology industry.

Alexandra is pursuing an Associate Degree in general studies as a Transfer Student. After Fall 2023, she will transfer to a 4-year university to major in Psychology.

Louise Jett is the faculty advisor for The Bridge as well as the Program Coordinator for the Graphic Design Program and the Web Design & Development Program.
