I can't see the photo so you may have to reorder the names a bit. But this is just emphasizing Paula and Logan as they are the more important and prominent people in the photo.

Lewis and Clark’s Student Government Association is giving out up to 800 holiday stockings this year, just in time for finals

Every year, the Student Government Association (SGA) on campus has put together their resources and made Christmas stockings for students who are in need of some stress relief from finals.

Last year, SGA produced over 600 stockings, and this year are estimating 800 stockings to be made due to the shortage of prior years. Stocking stuffers were all handed out within one week last winter.

“The stockings were very popular last year, several people would even come looking for them,” Vice President of SGA, Stevi Goesmann said.

This year’s stockings will keep to last year’s blue and include: pens, pencils and flash drives with the L&C SGA logo.

Also packaged inside the stocking will be: water bottles, Mio pouches, energy drinks, an assortment of candy, and healthy snacks.

A new item to the stockings line up is a limited number of  $5 lunch tickets. The 25 tickets will be placed randomly throughout the 800 stockings.

Stockings will be passed out the week of finals, on Monday, Dec. 15 and Tuesday, Dec. 16. A table will be setup in either the Reid Cafe or Commons for students to visit and receive a holiday stocking.

SGA members will be spread across campus passing out stockings, but if unavailable to do so or in need of more hands, the club will call on volunteers to help with the process.

“This is a major project for SGA and it requires full participation from the executive members to accomplish the task. However, it is a very rewarding experience,” President of SGA, Logan Walker said.
