Scholarship applications for the 2023-24 academic year opened on October 1, 2022. Enrolled students should fill out their General Application as well as complete their 2023-24 FAFSA (Free Application For Federal Student Aid) to enroll in the numerous scholarship opportunities at L&C.

New, incoming students should visit the Lewis and Clark Admissions Website and complete the steps to create their L&C email before applying for scholarships. High school students will need to attach a copy of their official transcript to the General Application, as well as know the date of their high school graduation/GED completion date.

Scholarship applications are due by March 1, 2023, but certain opportunities are expected to close fast. Qualified students should apply as early as possible to maximize their success. Remember, scholarship funds are free, with absolutely no paybacks, liabilities, etc. These will transfer straight into a student’s tuition, alleviating the need to come up with the money on hand.

Unsure if you’ll be qualified? Don’t be! Lewis and Clark Community College offers dozens of opportunities and scholarships for seeking students. Our website lists all the foundations and funds available, and just as some opportunities may close earlier than others, new opportunities oftentimes arise that may be more suitable for you.

Completing the online application only takes minutes, but students every year save hundreds to thousands of dollars through our scholarships alone. Remember, even for returning students, a new General Application is mandatory for the 2023-24 academic year – old applications will not carry forward!

For additional questions, our financial aid office is open Monday – Friday (8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.) to schedule an appointment with an advisor. Any tuition fees not covered by scholarships may be considered through the FAFSA, and getting ahead of the game is a great way to save on college expenses!
