Easy Spicy Chili

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Throw ground beef and garlic into a large pot and cook until brown.
  2. Drain off excess fat, then pour the remaining ingredients in pot.
  3. Let the pot simmer for two hours.
  4. Serve with crackers and shredded cheese if desired.

Apple Crisp

Ingredients

  • ¾ cup of brown sugar
  • 4 ½ cups of raw, tart apples
  • ½ cup of flour
  • ⅓ cup of butter
  • ¾ cup of old fashioned oats
  • 1 tsp of ground nutmeg
  • 1 tsp of ground cinnamon
  • ⅓ tsp of pumpkin spice
  • Ice cream (optional)

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Grease, with shortening or butter, an 8 inch square or round pan.
  3. Spread apples evenly in the bottom of the pan.
  4. In a bowl, stir the rest of the ingredients except for the ice cream.
  5. Pour this mixture over the apples, then bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the apple crisp is golden brown on top.
  6. Serve warm, and enjoy with ice cream on top if desired.
