There are few pleasures I am able to enjoy as of late, but of the few I have, makeup is in the top three. There is something so delightful to me about transforming my face to reflect outside who I am on the inside, and going out into the world to showcase it. Wearing a mask and keeping social distance while doing so, of course. Anyway, last year I discovered a brand that I’ve loved since the second I laid eyes on their themed packaging, Beauty Bakerie. What makes this makeup company stand out from the others is their packaging specific to a baking theme, as well as sweet smells and even sweeter names for their products!

I first obtained their Proof is in the Puddin’ eyeshadow palette in my Winter FabFitFun box and was instantly in love with the company! Then, at the beginning of the year, they had a sale including a set with their Flour Setting Powder, their Spray Your Grace Baking Setting Spray and their Blending Egg Beauty Sponges to find that those products are by far the best that I’ve used yet in their own respective areas! Then, more recently, I managed to successfully purchase one of their coveted mystery boxes for only $50 with a retail value of around $150! 

The mystery box contained their Milk and Honey highlighting palette, the Breakfast in Bed eyeshadow palette, two smudge-proof Lip Whips, a Sugar Scrub lip exfoliator and their Sophisticaked Stippling Brush! No surprise here, not only were these products amazing quality but also obtained at a third of the price! Beauty Bakerie products are available both on beautybakerie.com and at Ulta.com, and I can’t tell you enough that if you like makeup then to give them a try! They’re also a supportive black-owned business that works to make their products skin-tone inclusive, cruelty-free and, if possible, vegan friendly!
