The biannual Tie-dye event hosted by Student Activities has returned once again! Each semester, Student Activities organizes this event, allowing students to come and create their own tie-dyed shirts. This semester’s event took place on Sept. 5, 2023, running from 12 P.M. to 2 P.M.

“I think it’s a very exciting and creative event for students to come out and be with other students. Being the president, this is one of the more stressful preparation events, but the outcome always exceeds the hardship,” said Isabelle Flener, President of Student Activities.

Tables were lined in the grass, with different tie-dye colors scattered throughout. Each student got to pick their colors and dye their own shirts.

“It’s a lot of fun and a big mess,” said Isabella Harned, a student who attended the event.

To bring another exciting feature, a shaved ice truck was open for students to make another creation, with this one being edible.

“I think the shaved ice tastes like good ice,” said Christopher Crain, another student who attended the event.

The Tie-dye Event led by President Isabelle Flener and her group members remains a cherished tradition. It offers students a creative and fun experience, fostering unity and self-expression. This successful event, the colorful shirts and memories created will serve as lasting symbols of our vibrant student community. Students eagerly anticipate future Tie-dye Events and more exciting moments together!
