COOKING WITH FRANCO: Portabella Burgers

Check out what the Bridge’s head chef Francesco Turso has cooking in his kitchen. Today’s dish features savory portabella burgers on toasted onion buns. Ingredients:

  • 4 portabella caps (no stems)
  • extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tomato
  • a few lettuce leaves
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella
  • 1 clove of garlice
  • 4 buns (we used onion buns)
  • parsley and oregano
