The National Great Rivers Research and Education Center (NGRREC) will host a trivia night and silent auction from 6 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, March 20, at the Old Bakery Beer Company. The event is part of the March “Drink for a Cause” initiative.

Participants can expect trivia categories including pop culture, history, science, and river-themed questions, according to Environmental Education Director Jessica Mohlman. Teams of six can enter for $20 per person, with all proceeds benefiting NGRREC.

“Who doesn’t love trivia, delicious craft beer, and supporting a fantastic cause?” Mohlman said. “NGRREC is doing vital work in studying and protecting our mighty rivers, which are the lifeblood of our communities and ecosystems.”

Prizes will be awarded to the top trivia teams, and a silent auction will feature a variety of items. The Old Bakery Beer Company will offer a selection of craft beers throughout the evening. No outside food or drink is allowed.

Space is limited, so teams are encouraged to pre-register at https://bit.ly/RaiseaGlassTriviaNight.

The Old Bakery Beer Company’s “Drink for a Cause” initiative supports a different local organization each month. Twenty-five percent of beer sales during the event will be donated to the featured organization.
