The STEM Club (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) held “THE Ultimate Challenge” on October 30 in the Commons.
Any students were welcome to stop by to perform three challenges: build a balloon tower, build a bridge out of recyclable materials, and build a lego car. Each challenge had a time limit of five minutes.
The winning student(s) will receive $50 cash. Free food and candy will also be available.
STEM Club held this event to encourage students to participate in the STEM fields and become involved with groups and activities on the Lewis and Clark Community College campus. STEM Club wants to get students interested in all the exciting possibilities that STEM fields can offer.
