Winter season is quickly approaching, and the need for new coats, hats, gloves, sweaters, and other seasonal clothes is here. That is why Honor’s College student Sofija Djunisijevic is hosting a Winter Clothes Drive here on campus, launching on November 16th.
“I came up with the idea because last semester I started my page ‘All Together’, whose purpose is to help people who need help,” Sofija said. “So I decided that I want my project to be about helping.”
All donations—big or small—can leave a huge impact on families, individuals, and communities at large. Any gently used adult clothing can go a long way in helping others!
If you’d like to donate and be a part of this drive, drop-off day is November 16th at Hatheway Gallery (Room 125) from 3-6 p.m. Again, any and all winter clothes are greatly appreciated, and Sofija is available for any questions and concerns (sdjunisijevic@lc.edu – 773-706-7715).
If you are unable to donate on this day, no worries! Trimpe Lab (TR 250), Health Science (NUL 107), Comm Lab (TR 241), and the Library (RE 2201) are always open for donations!
Bring joy, comfort, and love this Winter season! We hope to see you join us on November 16th!
