Shelby Clayton is the Layout Editor of the Lewis and Clark Community College’s School Newspaper, The Bridge. Shelby is a computer graphics student who began her internship at The Bridge as a graphic designer and photographer, but stayed afterwards and became the Layout Editor. During her time at the bridge she has won two graphic design awards and two honor awards. After The Bridge, Shelby hopes to continue working in the newspaper industry as a graphic designer or layout-editor.
If you woke up tomorrow as an animal, what animal would you choose to be and why? I would a be a bear, because they are big, fluffy and lazy, and that’s all I want to be in life. And they eat raw fish, and I aspire to eat sushi as much as humanly possible.

What should the title of your memoir be? “Why Does My Stomach Hurt?” A Memoir of an Everything Intolerant Person Who Continues to Eat Everything Despite Crippling Stomach Pain
What is is one thing that you can’t live without? A stable internet connection, and decent computers.
What’s your favorite food? Sushi probably, maybe something made of potatoes
What do you love best about working for the Bridge? What I most like about The Bridge is that we’ve become such a tight knit family, that I never knew I needed. But I’m very glad I found them!
