Students at Lewis and Clark Community College now have the opportunity to study abroad thanks to L&C being a member of the Illinois Consortium for International Studies and Programs (ICISP).
Tuition Increase for 2015-2016
The 2015 fall semester will see a tuition and athletic fee increase of $7, which brings the total charge, per credit hour, to $128.
Smoking Ban on Lewis and Clark Campus
Starting July 1, 2015, all Illinois college campuses will become smoke free, after Governor Pat Quinn signed it into law in Aug. 2014. The Smoke Free Campus Act prohibits smoking anywhere on campus, including outside.
Old Bakery Beer Co.
On Jan. 23, brewers James Rogalsky and Lauren Pattan opened the doors of The Old Bakery Beer Company to the public, located in downtown Alton at 400 Landmarks Blvd.
Eating Disorder Screening at L&C
Student Development and Counseling Services will again offer an Eating Disorders Screening for students on Wednesday, Feb. 18 and Thursday, Feb. 19.
The screening times will be from 8 am – 1 pm and from 5 pm – 7 pm. on Friday, and 8 am – 1 pm on Thursday. The location will be in “Schriefer Commons,” Caldwell Hall, Room 2301.
