Starting July 1, 2015, all Illinois college campuses will become smoke free, after Governor Pat Quinn signed it into law in Aug. 2014. The Smoke Free Campus Act prohibits smoking anywhere on campus, including outside.
“Black Facts” : The Power of Words
On Feb. 9, 16, and 25, in the Reid café from 12-1 p.m. the Black Students Association (BSA) of Lewis and Clark Community College will host their first “Black Facts” event highlighting prominent African-American figures.
Eating Disorder Screening at L&C
Student Development and Counseling Services will again offer an Eating Disorders Screening for students on Wednesday, Feb. 18 and Thursday, Feb. 19.
The screening times will be from 8 am – 1 pm and from 5 pm – 7 pm. on Friday, and 8 am – 1 pm on Thursday. The location will be in “Schriefer Commons,” Caldwell Hall, Room 2301.
L&C Underground Railroad Tours
History will be brought back to life on Thursday, Feb. 26 with the return of the Underground Railroad tour hosted by J.E. Robinson, just one of the many Black History Month celebratory events.
Lewis and Clark’s Walk With Harriet Haskell
